How It Works

Everyone has a different approach to being interviewed. Some love it, others are reticent. That’s why I offer three options:
— Email: Receive a series of questions into your inbox and reply with your answers when you’re ready. Be as candid as possible.
— Phone: I’ll give you a call and we can have an informal interview over the phone.
— Interview with a loved one: Not everyone is in a position to speak over the phone, or even email. If it’s more suitable, I can send a series of questions to a loved one and have them record an interview with you.

Once we’ve completed the interview process, and I’ve written the initial draft, it will arrive in your inbox for review. This is your opportunity to check facts, make corrections, point out where changes need to be made to ensure the narrative reflects your experience. This is standard practice in all journalism. You will have TWO opportunities to review. Additional reviews cost $50.
